Nestle’s fresh baby formula woes challenge new CEO’s revamp plan

Nestlé is facing a major infant formula recall just months into CEO Philipp Navratils tenure, after a toxin was found in an ingredient supplied by one of its oil vendors. The contamination, involving cereulide, has triggered recalls of products under brands such as BEBA, SMA and Alfamino across more than 50 countries, making it the companys largest recall to date.
