NITI Aayog proposes optional presumptive taxation scheme for PEs of foreign companies

In its Tax Policy Working Paper Series -1: Enhancing Certainty, Transparency and Uniformity in Permanent Establishments and Profit Attribution for Foreign Investors in India, released on Friday, the Aayog has suggested the finance ministry consider these recommendations and possibly constitute a working group to draft the legal provisions and including the final proposals in an upcoming Finance Bill.
