No documents needed during Census, govt clarifies as Indians can also digitally submit information

Census 2027: Citizens will not need to provide documents for the upcoming Census. A new self-enumeration option allows digital submission of information. This digital process will be available for 15 days before the first phase of Census Houselisting and Housing Census begins. Data collection will primarily use digital mediums. Individual data collected remains confidential and will not be shared.
