SHIKOKUCHUO, Ehime — Yellow flowers of the oriental paperbush, known in Japanese as mitsumata, have reached their peak in the Shingu district of Shikokuchuo, Ehime Prefecture. The plant is a primary raw material for traditional washi paper.
