Pahalgam Attack: Why China's support for Pakistan may be all talk, no action

In the aftermath of the Pahalgam terror attack, China has extended diplomatic support to Pakistan while urging restraint on both sides. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, in a meeting with Pakistans Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, stressed that “conflict is not in the fundamental interests of either India or Pakistan” and called for an “impartial” investigation.
