Pakistan appoints ISI chief Asim Malik as NSA amid tensions with India
Amid rising tensions with India after the Pahalgam terror attack, Pakistan has appointed its spy chief, Lt Gen Muhammad Asim Malik, as the new National Security Adviser (NSA). Lt Gen Malik, who is also the Director General of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), will hold both positions concurrently.
