Pakistan violates ceasefire again along LoC and International Border; Indian army retaliates in Baramulla, Kupwara and Pargwal

Pakistan's army launched unprovoked small-arms fire across multiple sectors of Jammu & Kashmir along both the Line of Control and International Border on the night of 29-30 April. The Indian Army returned fire swiftly and proportionately. The incidents come amid rising tensions following the deadly Pahalgam terror attack that claimed 26 lives. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has granted military commanders full freedom to act, vowing justice for the victims and punishment for those responsible.
