Philadelphia sues over removal of slavery exhibit at Independence National Historical Park

The National Park Service has removed an exhibit on slavery at Philadelphia's Independence National Historical Park in response to President Donald Trump's executive order “restoring truth and sanity to American history” in displays at the nation's museums, parks and landmarks. Crews on Thursday removed the exhibit at the President's House Site, which included the names and other biographical details about the nine enslaved people who lived and worked there under President George Washington.
