PM Modi departs for UK to finalise historic Free Trade Agreement

Prime Minister Narendra Modi began a two-nation tour, visiting the UK from July 23-24 and the Maldives from July 25-26. During his UK visit, India and the UK are set to sign a free trade agreement, with India reducing tariffs on British whisky, cars, and food items, while the UK will offer duty-free access to Indian textiles and electric vehicles.
