Pontus Hultén, the Swede who created Paris's Centre Pompidou

Hultén, the director of the National Museum of Modern Art from 1973 to 1981, saw art as a means of changing the world. He spearheaded the Centre Pompidou project in Paris, elevating it to the rank of an international institution.
