Putin to seize homes from Ukrainians who fled occupied territories

Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a law that allows for the expropriation, or nationalization, of unused residential properties in areas of Ukraine occupied by Russian troops. Article 21 states that "residential buildings, flats and rooms that show signs of being abandoned are recognized as the property of the Donetsk People's Republic or its municipalities.
