Refugees who came to protect their religion deserve citizenship: Amit Shah on CAA

Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced continued strict action against encroachment and infiltration nationwide. He affirmed that individuals facing religious persecution from Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh will be granted citizenship under the Citizenship Amendment Act. Shah highlighted that these refugees, including Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist, and Jain communities, have long been denied their rights due to appeasement politics.
