Rs 2 cr siphoned off from India's Permanent Mission in Geneva; CBI books accounts officer

A former accounts officer at India's Permanent Mission in Geneva has been accused of siphoning over 2 lakh Swiss francs (around Rs 2 crore) to fund crypto-gambling. Mohit allegedly replaced vendor QR codes with his own, diverting payments to his personal account. The scam was uncovered by auditors investigating duplicate payments.
