Rs 500 crore scam: EOW arrests three, over 11,000 investors cheated in Maharashtra
Thane Economic Offences Wing has arrested a couple and their associate. They are accused of defrauding over 11,000 investors, including 1,500 police personnel, of more than Rs 500 crore. The accused ran an investment company promising high monthly returns.
