RS secretary general appointed returning officer for vice presidential poll

The Election Commission has designated P C Mody, the Rajya Sabha Secretary General, as the returning officer for the upcoming vice presidential election in 2025. This decision follows Jagdeep Dhankhar's resignation due to health concerns. Assisting Mody in the election process will be Garima Jain and Vijay Kumar, appointed as assistant returning officers.
