In the BSE Smallcap segment, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) hold significant stakes in many companies. Out of approximately 970 BSE smallcap stocks, FIIs hold more than 10% ownership in 229 of them. Within this universe, three stocks stand out with the highest FII ownership as of the June 2025 quarter—360 One Wam, CarTrade Tech, and Redington—where foreign investors control between 62% and 68% of the equity. Their strong share price performance in FY26 further enhances their appeal, with CarTrade Tech rallying about 48%, Redington advancing 20%, and 360 One Wam gaining nearly 17%. The combination of elevated foreign ownership and notable price momentum makes them especially noteworthy.To sharpen the search for promising opportunities, a stricter filter was applied: selecting only those smallcap stocks where FIIs hold more than 25% and which have delivered over 30% returns in FY26. This refined screen highlighted 10 companies that exemplify both strong global investor confidence and standout performance, positioning them as attractive smallcap names gaining momentum in the current financial year.
