Batesville girls golf defeated Columbus East 151-214 at Hillcrest on Monday. Bulldog senior Ava South took medalist honors with an even par 35. Franklin County won a tri-match at North Branch with Greensburg and North Decatur. It was the Wildcats 109, the Pirates 199 and the Chargers 208. Franklin County’s Emma Tolhurs was the medalist with a 44. Batesville varsity and JV girls soccer blanked Seymour by identical scores of 2-nil. Hailee Weisenbach and Karsyn Watson scored goals for the BHS varsity squad. Kenzi Lacey found the back of the net twice to account for the Bulldog JV’s two scores. [...]
