The Bengal Files: No theatrical release, BJP leader Suvendu says will reach phones

The controversy over non-release of ‘The Bengal Files’ in West Bengal is getting worse. BJP leader & LoP Suvendu Adhikari said the film could not release in the theatres but it will reach the mobile phones. Director Vivek Agnihotri alleged that the film was being blocked by the state, despite being based on historical events. The film features actor Pallavi Joshi who has written to President Droupadi Murmu to direct the authorities and help the film release in West Bengal.
