Thunderstorms, heavy rain likely in some Bengal districts till May 21: IMD

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted thunderstorms, gusty winds, and heavy rainfall in several West Bengal districts until May 21. This weather shift is attributed to a trough formation and favorable wind patterns, bringing relief from recent heatwave conditions. Purulia, Bankura, and other districts are expected to experience enhanced thunderstorms, while others will see light to moderate rainfall.
