Kathryn Ruemmler, who maintained a personal relationship with Jeffrey Epstein long after the late sex offender's conviction in 2008 for soliciting a minor, held several senior positions at the Department of Justice between 2009 and 2011 under then-president Barack Obama, before joining the White House as legal advisor until June 2014.
