Trump's Budget Proposal Includes a Big, Beautiful $250 Fee for EV Drivers
Hybrid owners would be charged a $100 annual fee; EV owners would pay $250. That's on top of state fees for battery-operated vehicles, all in an effort to recoup lost gas taxes.
