Tuesday volatility: Nifty ends near 25,000, Sensex flat

Indian equity markets closed flat with the Nifty 50 and Sensex ending 0.12% and 14 points lower, respectively. Nifty Bank settled 200 points lower, while midcap stocks were hit the most. The Nifty remained range-bound with support at 24,900 and resistance at 25,260. Zomato was the top gainer, while Shriram Finance was the biggest loser.
