Twin earthquakes of over 6.5 magnitude strike off Russia's Kamchatka region, GFZ says
A significant earthquake, initially reported as magnitude 6.6, struck near the Kamchatka coast in Russia, with a depth of 10 km. Shortly after, a second quake, measured at magnitude 6.7 by GFZ and 7.4 by EMSC, occurred off the east coast of Kamchatka, also at a depth of 10 km.
