University TA Fired After TPUSA Incident

Illinois State University graduate teaching assistant Derek Lopez was arrested and dismissed after two alleged confrontations with the Illinois State University chapter of Turning Point USA, including overturning the group’s table. The university has since confirmed Lopez’s removal pending review.
