Volume shocker: MFs added 1 crore+ shares in 12 stocks in Feb ’26. Do you own any?

In its latest mutual fund analysis, ETMarkets highlighted the stocks that saw the largest share additions by mutual funds in February 2026 compared with January 2026. The report revealed that 28 stocks witnessed additions of more than 1 crore shares each, indicating strong buying interest from mutual fund houses. However, when we look at the price performance of this filtered list since the start of February ’25, most of these stocks have been negative performers. We highlighted the top 12 stocks that have fallen in the range of 10–36% in just over a month.Notably, among the 28 stocks on the list, Vodafone Idea and Vishal Mega Mart recorded the highest increase in the number of shares added in February.
