Wockhardt, a global pharmaceutical company, has decided to exit the US generic drug market due to ongoing losses. Its subsidiaries have filed for liquidation under Chapter 7 of the US Bankruptcy Code. This move is in line with the company’s strategy to focus on innovative and high-value products, such as the newly developed antibiotic, Zaynich.
