Woman enlists Florida firefighters’ help to get pet python out of car dashboard

A pet python that slithered its way up into a car’s dashboard needed to be rescued with the help of firefighters, after its owner pulled up to a fire station in Florida asking for help. The pet owner can be heard telling Coral Springs Fire Department that her snake had been chasing a rat, before disappearing inside the vehicle. They eventually managed to pull it free from under the driver’s seat. In a post to Facebook on Monday, 9 March, the service said, "Slithery situation, you never know what this job may bring!"
